Recent ActivityThe Harpdogs is headed up by The Bluesman a.k.a. Coach Faust. The club meets in the Pit on Wednesday after school. Acoustic guitar players are invited. We also teach blues guitar while we are here. We will usually play at least 40 minutes. Somebody has to do it. Why not us? Group Announcements Harpdogs Unite!The first meeting of the Bearden High School harmonca club will probably be Weds. Sept. 14th in the pit. We meet at 3:45 and will probably play for an hour. Bring a standard 10-hole harmonica in the key of "A" or "C", and be ready to learn how to play. If you can play a standard 12-bar blues on an acoustic guitar in the key of E or G, bring your guitar as well. We play 2nd position blues in "cross-harp". We do a little 1st position. If you can do it we'll play some minor harps and 3rd position as you get better. Oh yea the boy can play.
We will meet every Wednesday in the pit unless something happens. Just find me or check scrolling announcements. Harpdogs will go until the start of Track season, around Feb. 10th, then our time runs out. Discussion Topics Group Contacts
